The RS8551, RS8552, RS8554, RS8553 (dual version with shutdown) series of CMOS operational amplifiers use auto-zero technology to provide extremely low offset voltage (maximum 5μV) and near-zero drift over time and temperature. The amplifiers feature ultra-low noise, offset voltage, and power consumption. These miniature, high-precision operational amplifiers compensate for high input impedance and rail-to-rail input and rail-to-rail output swings. They have a gain-bandwidth product of up to 4.5MHz and a slew rate of only 2.7V/μs. They can be powered from single or dual supplies as low as +2.7V (±1.35V) and as high as +5.5V (±2.75V).
The RS8551/RS8552/RS8554/RS8553 (dual version with shutdown) are rated for operation from -40°C to 125°C, suitable for extended industrial and automotive temperature ranges. The RS8551 single-channel amplifier is available in 5-pin SOT23, 8-pin MSOP8 and 8-pin SOIC packages; the RS8552 dual-channel amplifier is available in 8-pin SOIC and 8-pin TSSOP narrow-band surface mount packages; and the RS8553 (dual version with shutdown) is available in a tiny MSOP-10 package. The RS8554 quad-channel amplifier is available in 14-pin SOIC and 14-pin narrow-band TSSOP packages.
